Reminder about California Drought - dont' stop conserving!
Posted by on
Recent rainfall in California has helped the drought situation, but the state needs "11 trillion [galleons] just to get back to our normal, dry conditions," not in total rainfall, which is 60 trillion annually, but in unused water that goes into "storage," NASA scientist Jay Famigliett tells the LA Times. California uses most of this annual rainfall, so reaching this goal may prove difficult.
Whether you are a California resident or not, the personal decisions you make to use less water can help your community recover from droughts and use water sustainably.
