This Careguard Laminar faucet fixture is the aerator for healthcare and hospital applications. From the manufacturer: "By utilizing AgION™ antimicrobial technology, Careguard delivers built-in protection to help reduce the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew within the faucet attachment. Careguard is not intended to be an alternative to water treatment systems or established procedures for infectious control. Agion, Nature's Antimicrobial, was selected because it's silver technology is safer, more effective, and longer lasting than any synthetic antimicrobial, Triclosan included.

This low flow Careguard aerator is also a water saving clear stream model. Laminar models are good for healthcare use because they don't introduce air into the stream, unlike aerated stream aerators.

This Low Flow Non-Pressure compensating Laminar stream produces a clear and non-splashing stream. High efficiency faucet aerator increases rinsing force with low flow water use. Recommended for use in healthcare facilities to prevent mixing air and water. bathroom faucet applications. Use optional Grip Wrench to remove and install aerator without scratching the finish.
