The Push/ Pull feature changes flow from spray to stream. Aerator swivels to reach entire sink. An on/off lever for a value-added way to lower flow.  Dual threaded to fit both male and female ends.  *Note regarding the on/off lever -  in the OFF position, there is still a small trickle of water.  This design feature is to protect you from scalding and lets you know the faucet valves are still open.   Additionally, if you had a complete OFF and left your faucet ON, you would connect your hot and cold water lines, which is not a good idea.
